Although advertised as a camping oven it has everything needed to either work directly on top of my woodstove or my LP gas grill and will hopefully give me great results in both areas of use. The thermostat makes it more reliable when using in either capacity and as it has a small foot print so fit perfect on mu small wood stove and only takes up a small portion of my gas grill, allowing me to cook other items at the same time, yet give that added temp controll when baking breads. I am not using the wood stove at this time but will gladly update this review once I have tried it out in that usage. I like this oven so much I may likely come back for another so I have one exclusively for use in those two places. It also would work much like a rocket stove too I imagine though haven’t tried that approach out. If any of these ideas sound like they might fit your need then this is a stove ( oven ) for you! Very well made, heavy guage stainless steel, came with a bounu glass window and a neat carrying bag for portability. Got a mini home or van and do some of your cooking outside this jewel would be perfect. I sjust keep thinking of all the ways and all the places this oven (stove) could be used. Power outages, camping, vacations from on the beaches to high mountains… Like I said it just keeps morphing.

Bought this for the occasional time I wanted to bake something in my vanlife build and it is awesome for that I can put it right on a camp stove and it folds up prefect when I'm done

I love baking bread, just hate baking inside during the summer or missing homemade bread when roughing it. This so unbelievably compact when folded and easy to set up!One thing.. the protective blue plastic is on every major piece and has to be pulled away before using. That was pretty much the longest amount of time to peel off during initial set up. Not fond of that much plastic but necessary to keep it protected.
