IT WOULD BE SUPERIOR LIKELY TO OTHERS OUT THERE IF THERE WAS A LOCKING MECHANISM, SOMETHING LIKE IS ON A FLODING TABLE ! ANY LIFT TO SLIGHTLY RE-LOCATE CAUSES IT TO FOLD!

I love everything about it from how it opens and folds up, so easy. I bought it for when the grandkids stay the night,it's wide enough so when they roll around I don't have to worry about them falling off it. Now just have to wait to check out the comfort of it, and I'm sure it will meet the kids standards. The shipping time was fast too. Thank You for making a great cot.

The Redcamp cot is well made and supports big guys with no problems. I slept great on my camping trip to the NC mountains for my 50th birthday. I used it for 6 days straight with my ground pad and sleeping bag. I slept later than normal due to the comfort of the cot. The cot is easy to setup and take down quickly. The cot is very sturdy and not tippy at all. I recommend this cot for heavy guys or gals. I am 240+ and it supported me firmly without any flimsy feeling. Perfect for big tent camping. Mine is a Coleman 6 man Instant Tent.
